Commemorative trophy plaque in bas-relief in 925 silver depicting an angler in sporting action, crafted in the goldsmithing workshops of the Ottaviani house in Recanati (province of Macerata) in the 1970s-1980s.
Renowned for its sculptural approach to precious metals, the Ottaviani manufacture has developed series of commemorative bas-reliefs with textured hammered backgrounds. The composition includes a blank lower cartouche plate ready for a custom-engraved inscription.
Presented on its original black felt/velvet back and delivered with its box. Stamped with the Ottaviani signature, the 925 hallmark, the letter "R" (10g hammered silver plating) and the silversmith's registration MC.
