Pinocchio Fox Figurine in Solid 925 Silver, Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy. Rare Literary Character, Vintage Miniature Sculpture
$241.11 $301.39
Born in the heart of the silversmith workshops of Arezzo in Tuscany, this rare vintage figurine in solid 925 silver offers a striking interpretation of the Fox from Pinocchio. Made in the 1970s/1980s, it demonstrates the genius of Italian artisans in crafting miniatures rich in character.
In The Adventures of Pinocchio, the Fox ("La Volpe") is the Cat's famous companion, personifying cunning, deceptive seduction, and the temptation of taking the easy way out. In Italian culture, this character is an emblematic figure who humorously teaches us to be wary of false promises.
Particularly hard to find and possessing a superb sculptural presence, this figurine makes a prestigious gift and an invaluable addition for collectors of Pinocchio-themed items or master Italian silverware.
